Push Button Gently was born in 2006 as an experimental project based solely on improvisation, composition and recording.
In the first three years P.B.G. produced three compilations named: "Songs for B.J.Kruft", "Besides" and "Isquierda";
These grouped recordings and demos spanning various genres, with the use of found instruments, electronica, and conventional instruments, and were never presented to the public.
In 2009 "Tubular Records" released the first demo titled "A Toast to Dreaming",
recorded using a guitar and a computer.
By November of that same year P.B.G. started writing songs in an effort
to take the project to the live circuit.
Band members N.Bordoli (guitar, vocals) ex "Dirty Sanchez", A.De Poi (drums) of "Przewalski", L.Monti (bass, vocals) ex "Milaus" & J.Speziali (vocals, guitar) of Endigma, Keibe, start rehearsing the new material and play their first live shows in northern italy while preparing to start recording.
The sound of the band was stripped down and more energetic,
retaining a taste for melody that characterized all the previous material.
In July 2010 the band records the album "Comfortable Creatures"
(Tubular Records, 2011).
In February 2011 Lorenzo Monti leaves the band and Natale De Leo becomes
the new bassplayer.
After touring the rest of 2011, work begins on material for the next album,
with a move towards more psycheldelic atmospheres.
In June 2012 the band faces another lineup change with Francesco Ruggiero
substituting Andrea De Poi on drums, and the band starts preproduction on the new album called: “Fuzzy Blue Balloon”.
The album is recorded mainly live in the band’s “Basement Studio” in October and November 2012 and mastered by Lorenzo Monti at Le Mont Studio in Morbegno.
Fuzzy Blue Balloon was released on the 18th of April 2013.
